Landlines: Hummocks Field | Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument

When Mt. St. Helens erupted in May of 1980, is unleashed one of the largest landslides ever recorded killing 57 people in what was once a quiet lakeside recreational area. Pictured here, is debris from the blast---entire pieces of the old Mt. St. Helens that were deposited wholesale into chunks around the blast zone.
