Foot of Mt. Rainier | Mt Rainier National Park

Three streams converge on the northwest Talus (ankle) of Mt Rainier in the Carbon River Rainforest.

On the northwest boundary of Mt. Rainier National Park, 3 streams converge on a Talus or "ankle" of Mt. Rainier racing to join the glacier fed Carbon River 200 feet below. From the peak at 14,441ft to here, represents a unique boundary where "The Mountain" ends and the land it helps define take shape.
